Re: NEW!!! HAGI SO 13 "Tempest"
Well, truly it is exciting and anxious at the same time. Being a part of creating an all new Hagi creation, and then waiting to see if it will be embraced by fellow TCers, pretty intense moments, then they are always loved. That is the ultimate reward, that and sharing Hagi with TCers ... but it is all related.
Working with artisans and those who help to "get it done" to create unique and different Hagi is a blast. Trying to create what was never created before ... and will likely be imitated more sooner than later ... I mean if this was just picking # H246897531 out of the Hagi 'R' Us catalogue, what would be the point. Right?

Hey, wait a minute! I purchased product# H246897531 out of the Hagi 'R' Us catalogue and think it's quite pretty. It's the nicest toilet brush holder I've ever owned!
Re: NEW!!! HAGI SO 13 "Tempest"
So clearly you do not count 0 as an even number, as you clearly went up the number pad with the even Positive Integers less than 10 and descended with the odds less than 10.Chip wrote:# H246897531
Or were you restricting yourself to only the natural numbers in which case it makes perfect sense to leave off 0.

Well, Hagi are "natural," right?AdamMY wrote:Or were you restricting yourself to only the natural numbers in which case it makes perfect sense to leave off 0.Chip wrote:# H246897531
Oh, that is the H246897531TBH ... or is that the toothbrush holder? Anyway, the Hagi toothbrush is really cool, but the Hagi dental picks suck.IPT wrote:Hey, wait a minute! I broke my Hagi dental pick; where is the "Toothware Loss" thread when we need it?Chip wrote:Well, Hagi are "natural," right?AdamMY wrote:Or were you restricting yourself to only the natural numbers in which case it makes perfect sense to leave off 0.Chip wrote:# H246897531

Ooops, my bad. The Hagi dental pick is for use only with a full set of Hagi dental implants ... which makes sense.Nenugal wrote:I broke my Hagi dental pick; where is the "Toothware Loss" thread when we need it?

Re: NEW!!! HAGI SO 13 "Tempest"
Awesome pics of your "Tempest", Chip. So many great elements come together in this piece!
Can't wait to sit down and have tea in mine! Hopefully the wait won't be too long
I love the SOs! The only thing I think you could improve would be to tell us a little bit about what kind of piece we can expect (without revealing too many design details). Just knowing if it's a guinomi, yunomi, kyusu, houhin, etc. some time in advance would be nice and us fellow Hagi addicts could plan future purchases a little around the SOs
I hope everyone is going to post pics of their "Tempests" with some tea in them in the Hagi thread!

Re: NEW!!! HAGI SO 13 "Tempest"
Thank you Stentor! OK, here is your hint of the next SO, it will definitely be Hagi. OK, seriously, the next SO is completely up in the air yet as we are working on 4-5 projects currently and none are completely finalized. A lot of back and forths right now.Stentor wrote:Awesome pics of your "Tempest", Chip. So many great elements come together in this piece!

However I will add this, one of the next few SOs (and could be the next one, but not likely), start saving your pennies now as it will be a bit more pricey than most SOs. They will be less than the Tebineri SOs! This one will likely include a tie box due to the special nature of the pieces.

I try not to say much before everyone has their pieces (same with OTTI). But I will say this about Tempest, you should expect some rapid progressions with this one. For now I will say no more.
This is a really awesome SO, I think if you ordered this one, you will really love it.

Hm, I hope I have the wrong tracking number - if not, my package appears to be in Germany - hope it's not on its way to Austria! Anyone's package unexpectedly tracking into Australia?
Re: NEW!!! HAGI SO 13 "Tempest"
Wuh-oh! Hrm, well, Austria... Australia... so easy to confuse (:
Meanwhile, my packages never seem to get past Osaka...

Re: NEW!!! HAGI SO 13 "Tempest"
Usually mine leaves Osaka and then I get better updates from my local post service website once it hits Australian customs. I figured there was going to be a problem when my local site was reporting zero activity well after it should have landed!Drax wrote:Meanwhile, my packages never seem to get past Osaka...

Ah good, just got a response from the vendor with a correct tracking number - it's onboard with the driver, so hopefully will hear the doorbell shortly!
If someone else is looking at the tracking and wondering why their package is in Australia, get in touch with the vendor

Re: NEW!!! HAGI SO 13 "Tempest"
Last year I received a package 6 months late. It appears that it was actually delivered to Australia instead of China. The word "China" was written very plainly on the box and shipping label, so I have NO idea how that happened.
Re: NEW!!! HAGI SO 13 "Tempest"
What do "Branch out from the international exchange mean"? Do Japan post track the package longer than that or do I have to wait until it's inside Europe?
