Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. Between now and the end of the year, do you expect that your TEA and/or TEAWARE will somehow increase, you will miraculously have more? Please share.

Re: Thursday TeaDay 12.23/10 Tea/Teaware increase?
A gift of TEA may be in my future!
The Cherry tribe (18 strong )gather tonight for four nights of Christmas! Hopefully, a blessed one. Ed and I, our sons and wives, their 4 children, and our "sons" of the heart, one with wives and three children.
It is 34 years since Ed, I and the 4 "boys" have spent a Christmas together, when Yoshi and Leonel were here as exchange students. The two of them have not seen each other since. I hope I survive the excitement!
And, we may have a white Christmas which doesn't happen here very often!! So, lots of hot TEA to be consumed.
PEACEFUL CHRISTMAS TO ALL whether you observe it or not!
Lyn

Santa came early this year, bringing a load of teaware.
Merry Christmas to every teachatter.

Well, increase or not doesn't matter as I've already owned them. But of course, if the price went up sky high... it would be so much tastier
Re: Thursday TeaDay 12.23/10 Tea/Teaware increase?
No one would have the nerve to give me tea - I have a reputation for being a "tea snob". But there might be some tea ware on the way. If not, I've already bought myself enough tea ware to fill the cabinet.

An in-law very thoughtfully bought me a sampler from Adagio. Not sure which one, but the box is under the tree. No tea ware, sadly.
I had some black tea this morning that *I believe* my wife stole out of the adagio sampler under the tree and re-taped the box. It's called fujian baroque. Not bad with cream, sugar and lemon zest. I suspect the wife because she is a black tea addict and we were out of black tea when suddenly, this little adagio packet appears in the cabinet. She's cute.

Sounds like you are set for a great holiday artmom! We may see white for Christmas here as well, very cold is guaranteed!
I doubt there would be any tea or tea ware as a gift, but I already have mine I bought myself . I am giving tea to a few family members though. I started both Mom and DH’s mom on the tea kick with gifts last year.
A few cups of Yunnan black this morning to start my tea day.

i dont know about miraculously, but i do expect my tea/teaware to increase before the end of the year. i have been drinking down my current supply leading up to christmas in hopes there will be tea under the tree for me . I am now down to 15g or less of nearly all my teas. i am hoping to get some tea on saturday, i gave very specific examples of which teas i like and where to find them so maybe i will get lucky. if not sunday or monday i expect to be making atleast one tea order.

Virtually every tea has been drained to less than 10 grams here! Desperate times call for desperate measures, steep sizes have been pared, reducing ratios and increasing steep times ...
If you all did not send me tea yet, don't you think you should get moving on it!

Oh ... began the TD with dwindling supply of YM with the Mrs. Now only 7.5 grams remain!
Re: Thursday TeaDay 12.23/10 Tea/Teaware increase?
I will, Monsieur. Alreaydy shown one of my new pots. One other at least - out of the remaining 3 - needs a good presentation. But I will eventually, when I am back from holydays.Chip wrote:Ohhhhh? And since I won't be able to log in for at least a couple of days, I'd like to wish you all Teachatters a merry Christmas with a lot of tea/teaware.

Yes-- my mother is getting me tea for Christmas (she asked me what I wanted, so I'm even pretty sure of what kinds of tea I'll have).
Rose congou this morning and afternoon; copious amounts of iced green tea during the day; jasmine sencha right now.
