I have just finished a 9 day firing, the first 7 days alone. Not something I want to repeat. If anyone is interested in seeing a couple of videos of the firing here is a link, http://wp.me/p6ult-1DW
Thanks,
Dave

Here are a couple pictures of bottles from my recent firing. I haven't unloaded it completely, only taken a couple of pieces out.

Here are 3 more pieces from my firing. The first is a 'twin' tea bowl.

I have just finished firing some unglazed porcelain and would like to post pictures of a few pieces.
The first 2 are of 'store bought' porcelain. Unglazed.

The next two are from a mixed body. The mixture is 50% porcelain from Kyushu and 50% a very sandy body from Kyoto. I dug the Kyoto body myself. There are some impurities visible.

Thank you Iannon and Chip.
The mixed body is interesting. I think I will try to fire it in my wood kiln. It is smooth although it looks rough, almost as smooth as the regular body. I really wanted something that is a contrast to my Nanban type work and it fits that want.

And here is a list of shops on Etsy donating a portion of sales to help. Post here, http://www.etsy.com/teams/5024/etsy-japan/discuss/6817553/page/1/
