OK, I am guestimating this is about a 7 day notice for OTTI 9: 90's Sheng Pu-OTTI. Hopefully I will have a going live date and time for this 90's Sheng Pu-OTTI by the end of this week. I will of course have more info as well!

So, keep your eyes on the OTTI!

So just so I understand here...we are currently waiting for round 9 to begin. When Chip gives the go ahead he basically gets swamped with pm's asking to be a part of the OTTI, paypal commences and then those fortunate discuss the teas when they arrive? I Have found some information on OTTI's but it would be nice to have like a dummy FAQ of just the procedure and common questions

You are correct in all your assumptions!
I suggest you check out some of the threads of past/current OTTIs so you know what to expect. I participated in OTTI 7 & 8 and loved discussing previously unknown teas with a group of tea enthusiasts.
But yeah, in general, the forum could use some dummy FAQs (on other subjects as well). I suppose it's just a matter of finding volunteers to start compiling them.
