Infuser Cups

by mcmoogly » Sep 25th, '07, 23:28

When using an Infuser cup will the leaves have enough room to expand to get a good infusion? I'm looking at this:

I was just going to just it for sampling a variety of teas but thought it would be easier to and more convenient. Thanks all.

I think you'll do alright. I've used something similar before and had good results. You may not have as much room as some pots, but I can't imagine it would be much different than a gaiwan.

I have found them to work quite well for most teas. It may not be as good as traditional gongfu teaware, but I would say it's the next best thing. :)

Cool! Can't wait for it to arrive :) I was just looking for something quick and versatile and I think it will do the trick. Rishi had a really nice 8oz. Koryo Infuser but oddly I was told that they won't be getting anymore in. Oh well - next best thing!

Yeah, the koryo was the one I had, the jade and the indigo. I gave them away to different people when I started collecting Tokoname, but they worked nice.
