Tea Tables

by mcmoogly » Sep 30th, '07, 02:23

I'm looking for a good tea table, any suggestions or things to look out for? I think room for at least 1 teapot, water cooler and 4 cups. Would be nice to have room for 2 teapots as ideal. I'm just using a rag to catch water drippings right now and it's kinda annoying. Something that has enough openings for water drippings would be nice too. I was looking around and came across a few in my searches but I thought I would ask the pros. :)

I like the tea table from Rishi. Though it is more expensive than others, I think it has been well worth the price. It is roomy enough for cups, pots and whatnot. I've used it for an hour long tea class without filling the basin. And it has yet to warp on me at all. It is also made very well, better than any other bamboo cutting board, bowls, utensils and what not that I've seen.

Rishi has really nice stuff so I do trust them on quality for sure. Although I don't think it can beat the one that I really want:

$320.... o_O

Think about how much tea you could buy for that!

P.S. I like the avatar, mcmoogly. I should really pick up where I left off with that series. I stopped reading it a while ago, around when that bandaged guy who was always on fire (or something like that) showed up. Good stuff though!

Ahh yes. I just started watching the television series again. I'm a big fan of the television series over the OVA/Movies. It's much more light-hearted and fun to watch. :) But also very long :o
