I threw out my lower back on Tuesday and movement has been painful ever since. It is in a spot centered near my spine just below waist. My wife thinks it is a sprain resulting from some heavy lifting and shoveling I did over the weekend. Ironically, all I did was simply bend over and something gave, no great war story there. It is a recurring injury that stems from when I hurt it lifting heavy containers of sugar in a stockroom (working at a grocery store) some 20 years ago. If I'm lucky I can go years without a serious recurrence, but it finally caught up to me again and I've had to stay home from work laying on my back for the past 2 days. That is about the only time it doesn't hurt.
I was wondering if there is a tea that might help speed up the recovery. Thoughts?
