Never experienced this kind of snow, so care to share my noobish questions...

What is the temperature there?

How long does it take to accumulate that kind of amount?

Do you have to clear off the snow or let it melt? If you have clear off, how do you clear and where do you throw the snow?

How do you drive in that condition?

Will the water in the water pipe frozen?

Well the oldsters say its the most snow in January since records.
It was cold last month,0C but a storm each week adds up.
I have 36 inches on the roof, (or had) 8)
This was the second clearing of the roof in one week.
Well this one area
Where do I throw it? Oh man, running out of space.
Need snow? Will trade for tea :(
How do I drive?.... Who needs to drive when snow relocation is paramount?
I have a genny for power if needed, will run heat, water fridge, fish tank, etc.

This is crazy snow for CT. USA, there are buildings collapsing.
I have been working my house, Moms, and Fatherinlaws for 1 week
8 plus hours a day..........

Can't wait for the OTTI pu...... running low on tea

I sure do miss snow! It's amazing how much I miss it! The frigid winter weather just isn't justified without a lovely blanket of snow. It makes the cold more bearable. I know, I know, you who have snow won't agree with me, but move to a snowless place and you'll soon see what I mean!

"Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice. "

Woozl, I grew up in Connecticut and sometimes miss the winter wonderland, but I DEFINITELY do not miss the big snowstorms. Good luck with your shoveling - don't overdo it and drink lots of tea to keep warm!

Our quinzee in the backyard. Haven't slept in it yet. A few years ago when I made one I slept a few nights in it, but this year the timing is not yet fully right. Maybe this weekend.
