Wow, great news! Hrm, I just ordered some stuff from Magokorodou... I wonder if I should wait to have it all shipped together? Might be too much for my excitement to handle :D

We have lots of rabbits here, even in the greenhouse, and they are free ... so maybe throw a rabbit instead? 8)

Drax, if you send a mail to Mago, he will keep your stuff for a group shipment. Although bear in mind that if you use SAL shipment, there is a 2kg limit.

That is how I proceed with him. He keeps my stuff until it reaches the 2kg limit and then have it sent.

For the Hagi SOs, the process for adding/combining with an ebay order from Mago's ebay is a bit different!!!

It is of most importance to communicate to me if you are combining shipping with an item from Mago's ebay!!!

This is the procedure Mago has requested. Mago needs to hear this from me, especially since he is suddenly flooded with otherwise completed SO orders. This will prevent an employee from immediately packing up your SO and shipping it out.

This has been the process used for all the Hagi SOs. If Mago knows you by another name other than the full name given to me for shipping, then I will need the alternate name.

I do not need to know what you added on ... unless you want to tell me.

Thanks!

Oops, I spoke about Mago orders in general. I actually never took part in an SO... until this one ! :)

Sorry Chip nonetheless, although I had read your previous message to Drax, mine could be misleading.

No problem David. Just thought I should clarify this point for the Hagi SOs.

Given that this is my first time participating in a SO, I was wondering if Magokorodou has a default shipping option for them?

Or do we need to specify EMS vs. SAL shipping--and if so, what do people recommend? I know EMS is faster and insured, and SAP is not--are there other considerations, and do people think it's worth the extra cost?

Hope, you will be given the option to choose. I will be posting this info and PMing as well. You will then tell me your choice which will be forwarded along with your order to Mago by me. This all occurs after I receive the photos and during the selection process

You pretty much summed up the differences, one other is EMS offers tracking, SAL does not.

Value? Worth it? This depends on how much risk you are willing to take. Mago is a trustworthy seller, so he will ship the product. It is very rare for a SAL package to get lost, but if it does, you really have no recourse.

I will take the risk for less expensive items ... I will also weigh the cost factor compared to the cost of the piece. Plus if I want it NOW ... the answer is easy, EMS. But really, SAL might only be several days slower.

I have now gotten three shipments from Mago, all SAL, quick, no problem, and I was comfortable with the possible financial loss if something did go wrong.
