When I'm angry I drink oolong. When I'm happy I drink oolong. When I'm tired I drink oolong. When I'm wide awake I drink oolong. When I want to celebrate I steel some of my father in-law's expensive oolong.

When I'm tired, sad, neutral, happy, it's a black tea.

If I'm angry or feeling ill or in pain, I have a nice tisane/herbal. I particularly like anything with chamomile or lavender in it. Fairytale Tea from Mountain Rose Herbs is one of my favorites. If I have a nasty cold or flu, I'll make some ginger tea.

If I feel like treating myself or dh, I pull out some puerh that I have squirreled away.

I often tend to drink gyokuro when I'm in an off mood, whether it's angry, sad, tired, or any number of other feelings of being off. Lately I've been drinking bi luo chun under these circumstances too. In the winter, when I'm feeling off, I'm more likely to turn to a greener oolong with a very light roast.

In an off mood, I'm less likely to turn to a very strong black tea, or to a more heavily-roasted oolong.

When I'm happy I'm less picky.
