I bought three yixing pots from Shigaraki (one used once, two never used), and I got an unused celadon gaiwan set from Victoria. I wish I had them here to use and take photos, but they're all still tucked away in my parents' house in the States while I'm in Korea. :?

These photos were all taken by Shigaraki while we were discussing the sale.

Victoria's original pictures are here.

I've never bought opened/used tea before, but I wouldn't be against it.

Just some matcha today, in one of my new "fish bowls".

Nice looking teapots. I like the one in the third picture the most.

0% All I can say is no more tea budget left until spring greens come out.

Probably won't be purchasing any used Tea or TeaWare, but am offering some used (and unused) Tea in Tea Swap! :D

Not likely to buy any new teaware for a while, I´ve spent too much on tea/teaware lately :?

Today I´m starting teaday with the last of my Kiku Mukashi from O-cha...it´s really a fantastic matcha but I´m feeling a bit sad finishing it off and thinking about the disaster Japan is dealing with now. :(

I voted low only because I don't plan on it, not that I'm against it.

Today's cup is some nice Earl Grey in a new pot. I happened to be out at a public event today and found a tea vendor tent that carried the exact pot that I was about to replace, for less. Score. :D

I am not sure what I would have put down this morning for Teaware but due to an offering posted today, I now know that it is 100%.

As for tea I am not sure, but I think tea is posted to Teaswap less often, and I tend to worry about its freshness, as the items posted tend to be things that people have sitting around that they really are not drinking quickly at all.

And saved me some TeaBucks!!!

I was looking at these pieces, even though I had no plans for such a purchase any time soon. Sometimes opportunity comes along.

And still no plans ... 8)

Great TeaDay, though not enough.

Began with Musashi from O-Cha with the Mrs and followed up with Kaboku from Ippodo. Finishing up with day 2 of a 2006 pu-erh from PP begun yesterday.

Thank you for coloring our TeaDay Karmaplace!

Remember, the TeaWeekend continues into Sunday. Discuss the "used" topic or discuss whatever.

Also share what is in your cup throughout the day!

You can also share photos of used Teawares you have purchased over the years.

I would purchase used tea ware if it's what I'm looking for-- a low flat yixing pot preferrably with copper handles. I'd use it for puerh. What would be the odds of me looking on Teaswap or happening to find one up for sale in this month? Yeah, I don't know either. I have a fairly varied collection of tea ware anyway, to keep each TeaDay interesting. Definitely several non-yixing things I could brew puerh with.

Had a cherry blossom flavored black tea called Sakurambo from Lupicia this morning. Got a cup of oversteeped generic sencha fom Peet's Coffee at dinner. Finishing the (late) evening with a decaf fruit flavored black tea...everything is so wrong about this last one, but it was a gift and it tastes artificially good.

I'm usually reluctant to buy used teaware unless I know and trust the previous owner, although it may happen in the future.
Today's morning tea is a Darjeeling oolong from a local tea shop.

I'm with Nenugal on this one.
Unfortunately, to my experience, not everybody takes care of their teaware as well as I do. With the exception of trusted TeaChatters, I would want to be able to at least take a very good look at the teaware in person and also at the person selling the teaware, I suppose ;)
It also depends on what you are buying. If I was looking for a plain white porcelain cup for instance, this is something that is hard to take bad care of and even if the person had neglected to keep it clean, it could be restored to "like new" status rather easily.

Started the TeaDay with Okuyutaka sencha this morning. Then had some coffee, actually. I can see Kaoru Supreme Organic Matcha sometime in the next couple of hours (I really like that one, best out of three that I've tried from O-Cha!), then maybe some Yutaka Midori Sencha and possibly some houjicha or genmaicha in the evening.
My thoughts and hopes are with the people of Japan with every sip.

Spent quite a bit at a tea convention last month so no teas until I get through more than half of them. Or only purchase samples, but it's so hard not to!

I'd be less likely to buy used tea than teaware. Unless I can inspect it on spot how can you tell if it's any good? I need to smell it before I'm satisfied.

Teaware I've purchased used and have had little issues with them.

Jasmine in my cup.
