I have a blog in which I often post pictures of Japanese antiques, almost always related to the tea ceremony. If anyone is interested please have a look at http://togeii.wordpress.com/ and http://wp.me/p6ult-1Ob , my most recent post, which has pictures from a tea 'kai' book that dates from about 1952-58. The book is all Japanese but interesting in that one of the items it lists is the kind of tea used in the ceremony. This particular 'kai' was put on by the head of the Kasuga Shrine so I am sure they used the best tea around. The tea grower or dealer is listed as Koyama, the name of the tea seems to be 'betsugi' with the word for 'a long time ago', mukashi. I don't know if it is the name of a tea or something else.
