Friday April 1st. TeaChat to become CofTeaChat!

Greetings TeaFans. Welcome to yet another TeaDay. We hope you will drop by and share what is in your cup throughout the day with us.

Yesterday we discussed, "What do you feel you take the most/best care of, your tea or your teaware?" Please continue to discuss yesterday's topic.

Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. So it turns out, a few days ago the decision was made to convert TeaChat to CofTeaChat, a forum to discuss all things coffee and tea. And Adagio will become AdagioCoffeeRoasting.com. Isn't this exciting?

This will become effective sometime today, Friday April 1st, 2011.

We are all looking forward to sharing this, hmmm, Coffee and Tea Day with ... everyone. Bottoms up!

I'm not a big coffee drinker. If it actually happens I'll just be keeping out of the coffee threads. :lol:

That is SO freaking exciting. Perhaps then AdagioCoffeeRoasting will have an easier time remembering to renew their domains... :lol:

Woohoo SO freakin exciting! Now Adagio can finally compete with Teavana... Teavana is secretly owned by Starbucks, as most of you probably already know. I think they are giving up the secrecy soon since their similar business practices and philosophy are so transparent. :lol:

I could go either way on excited or not. I can enjoy coffee but I think my true love is tea. I enjoyed that this place was focused on tea but I'm a go with the flow person. Is this why the domain name wasn't working a few days ago?

One part of me thinks this might be a good ol' April Fools joke....hmmm we shall see

Actually, one of my other tea forums is already a 'Coffee & Tea' forum, but the coffee drinkers are pretty quiet once they get themselves settled in with their latest greatest expresso device. The tea posts outnumber the coffee posts by about as much as tea varieties outnumber coffee varieties....

Not a coffee person really...unless it's 5% coffee, 5% sugar, and 90% milk. It also makes me so jittery!

Assam in my cup, but hopefully going to enjoy some Sakura sencha this weekend down in DC

In fact, began the TD with Chinese green from a TCer with the Mrs. Sure hope sencha arrives soon!
