Salutations from the Northeast of China.

by TofuAutomaton » Apr 4th, '11, 09:12

I just found this chat and after poking around for a bit.. it seems like a great place to chat about tea. I used to drink a lot of the normal lipton black tea that you can find in any grocery store, however since coming to China I have greatly expanded my knowledge and appreciation of tea. I also have been studying Chinese now for over two years(speaking, reading, and terrible writing). It has assisted me greatly in learning more about tea and occasionally helps the confused person buying Chinese tea in another country.

I hope to learn a lot more about tea here and maybe help some people with questions they may have about Chinese tea. See you all around!

Hello and welcome. So where are you from originally? If you don't mind my asking...

Welcome!

I'm from (and still in the Midwest)...the Chicago area to be more exact. I do love the seasons, but will be honest I really would like spring to get here!

What part of China are you in? I visited a few years ago and was all over the country.

Look forward to your chats!

Cheers,
