Why is it that the image has to be under 640 pixels? That's so stone age..

Because any larger creates problems for a lot of readers. Also the photo extends beyond the TeaChat width limits requiring scrolling left to right to view the entire photo, making it impossible for many members to view the image in its entirety at one time.

Also porn spammers used to go huge, this eliminated many of the worst of the worst spam posts.
