Occasional wine, drinking or cooking with, but that's it.

Immoderate tea, other beverages in moderation.

I drink on my nights off from work. I enjoy scotch and bourbon, and beer in the summer. I live in MI, microbrew capital of the world! I could probably drink a different one every night and not get through them all for years. :D

Making a little shu puerh before breakfast today...

The occasional wine or cocktail, but only when celebrating something with friends. I'd rather spend money on tea.

Most of the Fridays we go out with colleagues after work and I can really enjoy a good beer after the working week.
I like to drink vine with the food.

Huh I am running out of teas, this morning I finished the mao feng, and now, after 2 beers, a young sheng from YS, brewed quite strongly, I thing I am getting high.....:D

Really??? The one that is pan-fired rather than steamed? What is your general impression of it? Does it have any surprising qualities?

Details please!

Finishing the day with Zhi Lan Xiang dancong from Tea Habitat.

I've had alcohol a total of three times in my entire life-- plum wine; Manischewitz loganberry wine; and white wine of some sort. Not enough to actually get drunk. I far prefer tea, anyway.

Very yummy sencha with dinner; currently waiting for a chamomile tisane to steep.

Almost nothing, i don't like any alcohol expect beer. But i like only fresh unfiltered beer, especially made with honey. I didn't drink much to begin with and now after i moved don't drink at all. Tea is now replacing everything, even sodas :)

Same here. The last time I drank a soda was probably the last time I was around people drinking.

And, for whatever reason, this reminds me of a story:

I have a co-worker who has commented that every time she sees me I'm with a "different tea contraption."

The other night when I came into the break room to eat she asked me, "Do you drink soda?"

I replied that I don't.

She replied, "All right, well you didn't drink my soda then." She later added that she had bought it because she really needed the caffeine for the night's second class.

"They have coffee downstairs," I offered.

"I don't drink coffee."

"I have some black teas."

"I don't drink tea either. That's why I bought the soda."

I think I might have made a face, but, really, tea is lovely and soda is terrible for you.

I started out the day with some tenkei tori matcha with my boyfriend, and then tried out some of 52teas' apricot fusion. Verdict: the blend has a great scent, but only a mediocre taste. :( Luckily it improved a little with each infusion.

Ditto. I also have a coworker who tends to comment on my tea drinking and has questioned me about soda, lol. Though she also questions me about all my dietary habits and seems amazed I like to cook and don't eat (American/Western-style?) fast food. She amuses me.

Also, Happy Birthday, IPT!
