Good TeaDay to everyone. Please stop in and share what is in your cup, and discuss the day's topic.

Yesterday we discussed sharing our brews. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.

Today's teaPoll and discussion topic. When drinking alone, the most common thing you do besides drinking/enjoying your tea is ... ? Please share some details!

We are looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up.

On the computer -> thinking -> zoning out.
My work desk as well as my home computer table are also used for tea, so naturally most tea-activities happen in front of the computer.

Computer... At first I thought it was too invasive for my tea-quiet time, till I bought a far less intrusive tablet.

I like to take pictures also while drinking.

On the computer, working. Also, if the last ten seconds is anything to go by, sneezing on it.

Having some sencha today. Excited to hopefully soon receive some 2011 Silver Needle straight from the People's Republic (seems like there should be a "Democratic" in there somewhere, or at least a "Free").

I think I think. Or zone out, one.

No tea yet today.

I picked Read, and second would be on the computer.

But, I guess it really is the other way around, since I do drink a lot of tea at work. If it is a choice though, Read is still number one.

Started today with Silver Needles.

I try to catch up on royal wedding news ... er ... not.

I think I think. Which leads to zoning out. At least the first few steeps. After that, I might be doing anything.

Began the TD with a tasting of Maromi uber Fukamushi from Den's with the Mrs.

Definitely computer time, more often than not. Between work and home, I try not to think too much about the number of hours I spend staring at a computer screen ... :?

Bi lo chun from Mad Hat Tea this morning. Sadly, there's not much left of it ....

I usually read but often also have music or news on in the background. Now that I have an Ipod Touch I'm also sort of on a computer. I've got a tea database app and I'm going to try keeping my tea notes and tea inventory on that.

Today was Japanese green tea day - Otsuusan sencha followed by Den's Genmaicha Extra Green. I've received my first shipment of 2011 Chinese greens so that's on the "menu" for tomorrow.

I just had to see the dress. And then my boys saw the soldiers and became a bit fascinated.

Today was just some English Breakfast. I have some mango ceylon coming that I greatly enjoy. I may pull out some jasmine pearls or lapsang souchong tomorrow.

I almost forgot. When I drink tea, I am often on the computer, about to tidy the house, or when I'm sewing.

I usually think. I have a tendency to get lost in my own thoughts a lot.

Thai tea all day today. Nom nom nom. I love it so much. Waiting on some hojicha to cool off right now.

To enjoy a nice gongfu session of tea, I need to be 'tethered' near the tea wares for a while, so I am usually working on the computer, reading, or cooking.

Today started with some Yin Zhen silver needles from Jing Tea Shop, moved on to a long session with Bai Yun yunnan oolong from Norbu, and I just enjoyed a cup of cold-brewed Dens Shin-ryoku sencha, from yesterday morning's abbreviated session--I had only had a chance to brew two infusions, so I put some cold water to the leaves in the pot, put it in the refrigerator, and forgot it until this evening. Very pleasant.
