Prelim topic/Official Notification. HAGI SSO 15 SENDAI

OK, here is your official 3 day notification of SSO 15 Sendai going live. This will be posted in this forum of TeaChat.

A substantial amount of the proceeds of this SO will go towards the Relef Efforts in Japan! Special thanks to Magokorodo for helping to make this possible!

This SO will go live at 6 pm on Sunday May 22nd 2011 Eastern USA time.

During this "Phase 1" of SSO 15, 5 special LIMITED pieces will be posted along with information on how to obtain one.

Then on Monday May 23rd at 6 pm, 20 additional pieces will go live in "Phase 2" of SSO 15.

So we will put in our orders on the 22nd and 23rd, but when will deposits or payments be due?

Hrm, I twiddled my thumbs, but time doesn't seem to be flowing any faster...!

Very exciting....! And something else also very exciting on its way from Mago as I type....!! :mrgreen:

Try watching your kettle heat up water ... this may speed things up a bit! :mrgreen:

Since these pieces are already made, you will see the actual pieces. This is actually the norm for the Hagi SOs, The ROCK! and the Eiichi Commission! are exceptions, thus the deposits.

After you select successfully :mrgreen:

, payment will be due asap, but can be delayed by special arrangement with your friendly Moderator for up to a week.

Of course, immediate payment will also mean immediate shipping. :mrgreen:

It kills me that I'll have to sit this one out. Hopefully I will not love the pieces as much as I'm thinking I will.

In view of previous S.O. offers, where certain limited selections were gone in literally less than a second, is this going to be a "fastest" or a "lottery" selection?

This is a very legit question. Thank you for asking.

Phase 1 will be different due to the nature of this SSO for the relief effort. There are 5 pieces that are similar yet dissimilar to the remaining 20 pieces. The 5 will be offered in Phase 1 as an auction where members will have 20 hours to bid, bidding will start at 6 pm eastern USA on Sunday May 22nd. Thus seconds nor getting your PM to me instantly will not be a factor at all.

Phase 2 will also be part of this relief effort. But it will be based upon a lottery system, more details will be included in a post in the new topic and at least 3 hours prior to the 6 pm eastern USA time on Monday May 23rd.
