Oops, put board games twice ... and both got votes, so cannot change it now.

... remember to share your game preferences. And what is in your cup today.

Had a lovely session with some Silver Needle today. I think it might be my favourite tea. : )

At home with the family, and didn't bring home tea again. But in terms of Games I like both board and Computer/ Console games, most of which either Strategy or Role playing based. Though I have been known on occasion to play the more classic first person shooter games.

So some like board games AND board games
Welcome back teachat. So little time this month and so many posts not read nor written something.

I am really into strategy games. On the computer or on a board. The classical ones (nothing beats them) or modern variants. And I like card games - but you always need partners to play 'em.
I like every challenge for my mind. (so I even do crosswords, sudoku and riddles)

Today I had to try a Shu Puer that I have for half a year now and never sampled it - '09 Yi Dian Hong from YS in my "In Praise of Shadows" cup. It meets my mood today so I really enjoy it.

Lost a TeaDay post for the second time in several days.

Anyway, I generally go for strategy, thinking games including classics such as chess and Risk. I will also have fun on occasion with a low brainer game like pictionary.

I am not to keen on games depending virtually 100% on luck.

Also enjoy outdoor team games.

Began the TD with Yutaka Midori LE with the Mrs., a start to a great TD!

I like board games, card games, computer games, physical games, games of skill and luck....almost any game can be interesting for a while. But I enjoy some of them too much, so for years the first thing I did with every new computer or PDA was to remove as many as possible of the games that came already installed, so I don't lose myself in them and never get any work done.

Today, no games, but a lovely hike with friends, and some Lemon Myrtle rooibos from the Cultured Cup, Tsou Ma Fei spring 2010 Alishan Oolong from Norbu, and now some 1980s Snow Mark puerh from Essence of Tea completed a lovely lazy lunch.

This morning, had an Uji Sunshade. 8) A shot of late-steep gyo in shincha.
Pretty pleasing and I'm pledging to give it another try with fresh gyo and sencha just to see if it's worth a darn. It may not be worth the gyo involved, but i'm going to write one off for the team.

Lots of hojicha. And our son LOVES this hojicha. He runs around all day saying mo ho-JEE-cha, mo ho-JEE-cha!

Which is pretty funny because this kid doesn't even like juice.

Well, I am convinced there are more than 8-10 members who play games. So TD continues into Monday ... which in the USA is Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day!

So, continue to discuss this topic, share what is in your cup throughout the day, and discuss whatever comes to your TeaMind.

As a bonus, since it is a holiday in the USA, will games figure into your TeaDay today? Also, when playing games, does tea figure in as well?

I like chess, but I'm not at all good at it. It's still pretty fun. I like trivia games quite a bit too but honestly video games is where I'm at. Especially Portal 2 and SOTC.

Enjoying a houji kukicha right now

Cookout by the pool today with the family. Out of the 10 of us, five are veterans. So, we will remember. . .

To answer the question sincerely, we play scrabble sometimes and not much else, unfortunately. When I have evenings free, we usually dig in to movies or books. I miss games though. I used to play chess frequently with my father growing up, but haven't played since college...10 or so years ago. It's a shame. Go seems very interesting...

I drank more Kirameki this morning. Easily the most difficult and inconsistent sencha I've ever brewed. Tastes great on occasion, but just when I think I've got it nailed, I mess it up somehow. If anyone has any tips, I'm all ears. Luckily, I have others in the cabinet keeping me satisfied.
