Hello from Mass! :D
Well hi! : ) I am extremely new to the world of tea. I mostly just drank green/black teabags every now and then, and was recently introduced to steeping tea via Teavana. (Yes I have read the reviews and know not to buy my starter set from them.. xD) I tried a few samples and loved it! I am hoping to buy a teapot that is perfect for a newbie who drinks massive amounts of tea (Not just a single cup.. I usually drink 2-3 ). Would anyone have any suggestions as to where I should purchase my first teapot??

Welcome to the forum, looking forward to seeing you around the place!
The advantage of a smaller 1ish cup pot, as you get into better teas, you will be resteeping them often many times over. Most serious tea drinkers here have found the larger pot bought as a newb to tea was quickly obsolete. We call this newbie tuition, which you can avoid if you choose.
I can sell you some BIG pots otherwise, just have to clean off a lot of dust.

Well, for starters, do not waste your $$$ on Teavana's tetsubin (iron) teapots, well, tetsubin teapots in general.
Secondly, what kind of teas will you be brewing?

To be completely honest, I havn't tried anything beyond green/black tea, so I'll probably be starting off with those and then branching out. I really want to try a variety, like herbal/oolong/rooibos I'll mostly be sticking with Green and, if I like the taste, oolong.

Then a glazed pot/gaiwan or neutral brewer such as glass makes sense.
Or even a glazed kyusu (Japanese teapot) such as the inexpensive, glazed ones from Den'stea.com makes sense. You cannot go wrong for under 20 bucks.

Den's $3 sampler was what sparked my adoration for japanese teas and pushed me to explore past taiwanese oolong. Ingenious way to market to a new consumer...I wonder why other shops have not picked up on this yet.
+1 on glazed kyusu to start. Also maybe a little small teapot or gaiwan depending on if you decide to brew oolongs in small infusions. Oolongs do just fine in glazed kyusu though, just need some heavy preheating.

+1 on Den's, you just can't go wrong with that decision!
