Last economy package from Petr took over 4 weeks to arrive here (near Philly). It will drive you nutz if you let it.
Beauties in action Tobias!

Re: TA SO 3 Petr Novák Wood Fired Shino Collection
My parcel arrived safely! Despite the postal strike, it only took 21 days to get here via priority shipping. 10 of those days it was sitting in a warehouse, but still...
My project this weekend is to put together some sort of light box so I can do the pieces as much justice as I can with my humble camera.

I love the shibo.
This is a great functional pot.
Simple, sublime.
-no pics yet-
And have yet to try the kyusu.
But she has settled in well with the natives

Bummer siae!
Tip chips are pretty common with teapots ... for me anyway. This does not make them any more ... easy to accept.
I posted one solution under the broken teaware topic.

Yes, the rough sandy clay used, the thin, well crafted construction, and the crawling shino glaze do not make for bomb proof pots! A little extra care should be used, IMHO.siae wrote:And be careful with your pieces guys

Nice photos compliment the "feel" of these Petr-Yakis!

No handle on the cup.
Looks like the handle of the kyusu, in hiding, waiting
in the "green room"
