2009 Dayi Jia Ji Tuo Raw - I think too much tea leaves. The guy didn't measure. Tough to drink on first brew. Stopped at 3rd brew. Colour of the tea looks nice for a 2009.

60s & 70s Liu Bao - Someone brought a 60s Liu Bao to the shop to treat. The boss said that it is not 60s, which the boss took out his 70s. Brew side by side.

60s wet leaves looks darker than 70s but taste wise 60s drops very fast. 70s is more woody, feeling and satisfying. The dry leaves of the 60s is quite white where 70s is dry and clean.

I prefer 70s

Was there a consensus about what the "60s" actually was? (younger, or stored differently...?)

The 60s is most probably too wet stored once. So after 4th brew, it dropped very fast where the 70s maintain.

On the 1st brew, both performed well. Hard to tell which is older or better. 3rd brew shows some advantage to 70s. But on the 4th it is very obvious 70s is better.

Recently I finished the last of Nada's Mannuo and Shupu samples.

Also had some 2009 7452, which I've found to be a very solid Shu.

There are a lot of paintings (some writing, some drawings) like these in the shops

Owner just bought it recently to resell. He said when the artist died, that is when the painting price will go up fast. He has few people interested to see this drawing already.

I don't know how to appreciate.

1980s Liao Fu - Someone asked me about it. So here it is. This is Puerh tree planted at the border of Vietnam. It is processed differently. Taste a bit like LiuBao + LiuAn mixed up. Dry storage. Woody taste.

The shop has 1960s, but I didn't request for it yet

Hrm, interesting... perhaps this is an example of modernist calligraphy? I am not an expert on calligraphy, but I would not give this artist high marks on his or her writing skills...

But again, if this writing is supposed to be the Picasso form of Asian calligraphy, then it might be wonderful.

2003 Xia Guan Puerh Di Yi Bing (First Beeng) FT - So tempted to get this, but too costly for me. KIV. There is sample, but didn't get to try today. Will revisit this in the future.
