For the Blacks, I'm mostly into Assam. Assam Greenwood and Assam Mangalam. I really like a good Assam, they are not easy to find but when you find them, they are quite cheap and SO rewarding!

Drinking a Taiwan black today, a BOP from Forest Black Tea (森林红茶) brand, in Yu Chi (鱼池), Sun Moon Lake area. It's grainy and flowery.
I almost never drink black tea because it's rough on my stomach, but this one does no harm when I brew it weaker.

Re: What Black (Red) Tea Are You Drinking Right Now?
Today I drank two black teas.
Risheehat Exotic Spring Clonal Darjeeling First Flush 2011
Dry leaves smell wonderful: fresh, juicy, spicy (almost like bergamot in Earl Grey). Very bright liquer. Top notes of citrus, apples, whole light, refreshing, energizing. Slightly lack the depth and intensity.
Here few photos.

Second tea was a Nepal Himalaya Shangri La SF 2010
Full and balanced tea with the second flush, coming from the unusual tea gardens located very high - at almost 3,000 meters in the Himalayas.
Production of Nepal tea is strongly conditioned by favorable climatic conditions, as well as the guidelines of the economy of Nepal, which do not allow the enrichment of the artificial methods of production. The result is a tea organic, pesticide-free. The plantation is supported by HOTPA (Himalayan Orthodox Tea Producers Association)
The taste of tea is reminiscent of a tasty and full of familiar Darjeelling teas - but that Nepal is very balanced, which makes it encountered without excessive focus on teas from the first flush.
And few photos.

Thanks for reading;)

chado, lovely photos and good descriptions of your tea tasting sessions. Thanks for sharing!
In my cup this morning, an exceptional second flush Assam tea from Upton (Marangi Estate FTGFOP1 CL). Very full bodied brew, with great complexity. Tons of malt, molasses, dried fruit and bracing dry red wine finish. Pretty pricey, but I may compelled to re-order.

Hey;)) Like every day I drank some black tea;) even the two;)
First tea was Nepal tea. Golden Nepal Antu Valley. I dont know from which flush is this tea.
This black tea from the plantation Antu Valley with a silver tips, a delicate, spicy aroma, light fruit note, long "finish" and a beautiful golden color.
After drinking, it leaves a slight taste of nuts.
Few photos;d

Second tea. Darjeeling North Tukvar First Flush 2011
Tiny green leaves of shade. Lots of tips. Beautiful aromas of pineapple. Golden brew flavored with exotic fruits like guava, this little nuts. I cant tell more. But I have a picture;)
