Thur/Fri TeaDay 8/25-26/11 First things first!
Greetings again TeaFriends. Please drop in and share what is in your cup on TeaDay. Also discuss the topic of the day!
Yesterday was a FreeDay, but please feel free to post in yesterday's topic.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. Assuming there is a post there, what is the first thing you open/look at after you log on to TeaChat? Of course, please share!
We are looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up.

I go down the front page and open(if they are marked unread) 'TeaDay', 'Hagi & TeawareArtisan SOP & OTTI', 'Teaware & Accessories', 'Green Tea'(sometimes also 'Oolong' and 'Pu'erh'), 'Other Tea', 'Miscellany', 'TeawareArtisans', and 'TeaSwap' in tabs. I then work my way through each reading whatever seems interesting and mark the whole forum as 'read'.
Having some of my mystery shu before bed. It's very earthy and nice.

Not exactly how I got into this habit, I think possibly due to the location of the Teaware Artisans, when I open up teachat I scroll all the way to the bottom and work my way up reading every single new post.

If I have a message, I start there first. But usually it's straight to new posts, top to bottom. Haven't ever used IMs.
Starting the tea day with my new teapot, more infusions of the lovely Hawaiian oolong that it held safe for me overnight.

Oh oh ... this is pretty much exactly what I do. Though I think my reasons are more mod oriented. PMs are last out of necessity unless there is a special program going on.
However, sometimes I let the pu-heads alone to their own devices and come back to that after I am done with everything else.
Began the TD with Organic sencha 7132 from Shizuoka ... 2010 vintage with the Mrs. Good but faded a bit. The cherry aroma has faded.

I usually just click on "View active topics" and then middle-click on every interesting topic to open it in a separate tab, then I read all open tabs.
Today was so hot I almost didn't feel like drinking warm tea, but I still made three brews of Hana-no-Kaori Asamushi sencha. It was nice, but not nearly as refreshing as iced sencha from the fridge!

I gravitate straight to the green topic... Although I just discovered TeaDay here... and also just discovered the "active topics" link. Hmmm looks like I have a lot more exploring to do on TeaChat

Teaday is always first, second is Teaware and Accessories, after that, anything is game.

I always click on "Board Index" and then "View Active Topics" and pick what I'm interested in viewing or contributing to from there.
No tea yet today. I'm still recovering from food poisoning I seem to have gotten on Tuesday.

I always read the TeaDay first and then I vote on the poll. Hardly post though.

Let's roll with this topic on Friday ...
Please share what is in your cup throughout the TD.
And discuss yesterday's topic.
And/or discuss whatever is on your mind, after all, this is our TeaRoom.
Bottoms up!

I bookmarked teachat as http://www.teachat.com/search.php?search_id=newposts
and pinned it as app-tab. Once in a while i log out and in again to shorten the list.
This way I always get only all posts i didn't read yet
