I'm vegetarian, but I'm much too fond of cheese for being vegan
This morning I'm drinking Kamairicha, grandpa style.

Vegan for close to a decade now.

Just closed out my day continuing with the leaves from my early afternoon sencha that got cut short. Not as great as it could have been had I continued then, but still nice.

An Omnivore who hates processed food and ready to eat convenience foods.

Real food please!
Preferably quality products. Ripened before picking fruit. Unpasteurised cheese. Meat produced for taste not leanness. Wild fish as fresh as possible.

Vegetarian. I toy with veganism but do love my milk products. Fortunately I'm completely lactose tolerant!

I received two tea shipments yesterday so I'm well stocked with Chinese and Japanese greens. Right now I'm enjoying Karigane Sencha Otsuusan from O-Cha. I was a bit anxious that the reality of the 2011 tea wouldn't live up to my memories of the 2010, but my fears were unfounded.

I eat just about everything. I'm not big on sweets though. Finally got internet hooked up in my apartment... it has been a rough 6 days  .
Started the day with YM from O-cha before class. I was almost late due to losing track of time in my enjoyment

Shuweeet!

Speaking of sweets, I tend to eat almost anything and everything including the sweets. I do endeavor to eat healthy, but this has become more challenging with the passage of time.

If I am in the midst of training, I can have a rather ravenous appetite, raping and pillaging the kitchen for anything with calories.

Began the TD with "Takumi" from Zencha with the Mrs. It has been a while since I had this one and I will have to work on perfecting the parameters.

I think there will be Gyokuro today!

I go by vegetarian, but I eat ethically raised (usually hunted) animals and avoid the more offensively produced plants. I don't call myself a flexitarian because I think it connotates wishy-washiness.

Today I'm drinking masala chai. It is raining and cold and I'm off to a soccer game soon, so the warm creaminess is what I need.

A bit of everything really.
Most of what I cook is vegetarian, the grains, fruits, herbs, and veggies are usually cert. organic or homegrown. I am into keeping the ingredients as pure as possible, if I don't know what it is on the label I will not eat it (unless someone is cooking it for me and offers it as gift, then I feel slightly obligated).

But when I go out to eat at restaurants there's really no telling for most places what preservatives etc are in there. Usually I just enjoy my meal then go wash it down with some good tea. Have been eating more meat then usual lately, stocking up on fat and proteins for the cold winters over here.

Sometimes I get this feeling that eating some of this 'unhealthy' stuff is actually not a bad idea. As long as it is a very small fraction of what you usually eat (veering towards homeopathic ideals here).

Nice mix of bancha and gyo kukicha today at work.

I'm eat mostly vegetarian, but very occasionally eat fish/seafood. Today had some fragrant dong ding from FLT. I steeped it once and then had to leave for a 2 hour meeting. When I came back I smelled the leaves and they smelled like sweet wine. Nice.

Unortodox vegetarian - as a family cook I have to prepare meat for the rest of our house residents. Like Nenugal becuse of cheese far from vegan, and avoid fishes - like tibetans used to say "1 yak = 1000 fishes".

tried Bai Hao Yin Zhen for a first time and I know now I do not like "white"- too "canddy"(?) for me; but Lu An Gua Pian for the end of a day helped to conquer that strong after-taste.
