Hui Long Zhai
Has anyone here ever tried hui long zhai? I got some from China when I ordered a kyusu teapot. Supposedly there is only one seller of it. It was really nice but I think the brew color and taste was closer to being white tea imo.
Re: Hui Long Zhai
Is this the tea you received?

I stay away from anything bitter so I wouldn't try this tea, but there are lots of happy Yunnan Sourcing customers on Teachat.

Western Yunnan sells a few types of Teng Chong
The orchid fragrance looks very similar.

Re: Hui Long Zhai
I have tried this tea today. I think it's a good tea, not too bitter and a pleasant and durable aftertaste.
Good the second infusion, not the third.

Same here, I brewed a sample I got from that vendor several months ago and really liked the tea. Recommended but it has more yang energy on it as opposed to northern-grown teas (yin).
