Here is my first Zisha piece. I will shortly post numbers 2 and 3.
I got this mug about 2 weeks ago, and I love it. It is Zi Ni, I think it is high-fired and it is thick walled. Couldn't tell you anything about the clay, but I think it is pretty new and probably pretty low quality, but it is definitely nice enough for me!
I have been brewing a blend of 70% raw and 30% cooked puerh, which is aged 10 or 15 years (I drink so much with my puerh guy that I get mixed up on which is which, but 10 years in his youngest tea). I am thinking about cleaning it and trying some high-altitude rolled Taiwanese oolong, just to see, but I don't know yet. Any suggestions? Ideas? Comments? Thanks for looking at my baby!
PS-I spend waaaay too much time rubbing my pots down. They are just so pretty when they shine!
