More section permission?

by Jspigs » Oct 26th, '11, 20:39

When I click on the section of the forum titled "more" there is a message that is displayed that states "You do not have the required permissions to read topics within this forum." I was just wondering why that is and how do I get the proper permission.

I am assuming you mean the More located under the Adagio forum?

Hmm, kinda weird. Registered users which is your group, members within this group have posted there since I formed this forum.

Can you see the subforums listed, including TeaClass, TeaMuse, etc.? They appear under More.

If you can see any of them, try to open.

I also reset some of your individual settings for More ... but this does not answer why you could not enter to begin with ...

OK, I checked as a guest. You can enter the individual subforums like TeaClass, correct?

There are actually no topics under More, just under the subforums like TeaClass. So, this might be a default.

I have to go back and set your settings to default ...

Chip -- I get the same message... but I got the same message before the "More" was created and when everything was lumped under.... well, whatever it used to be lumped under in the previous organization (it was down near the bottom...).

I always understood it to mean that I couldn't post in the list of sub-forums, which was fine, because it was a list of forums and not threads. I've never had a problem reading or posting in any of the sub-forums.

I can view everything under the more category etc. but the message still shows up as text underneath the list of sub-forums.

I take it this must just be a glitch and i should ignore it?
