Re: Tead Off, TEAWARE ONLINE
My littlest one does have a quite small handle, that requires some careful handling, and I'm very curious how the....what to call it? the alternative style of handle? wings? ...how it feels in the hand with a similarly sized cup or pot, but at this time, with the cupboard quite crowded, not ready to buy one to test it out, yet.
Looks like a bunch of other people were ready to check out the 'winged' cups, though!

We are taking special orders for Puerh storage jars. These are meant to hold standard cakes. A common size would be able to hold 3-4 cakes. Onggi clay with shino glazing on exterior. Please enquire about size and pricing.

TO tells me they are having to evacuate Bangkok, likely for India.
I am sure we wish him safe journeys.

Thanks for the comment.togei wrote:I really enjoyed looking at Seong-il's work. Very nice.
BTW, Koichi Tamano and his wife have moved back to Japan.
I am leaving Bangkok in the morning for India. They say all of Bangkok will flood this weekend. It is already a disaster here and it will get worse.

Hopefully Mr. TO is doing OK!
THE pitcher (though I may use this as a Yuzamashi) arrived a few days ago ... really a cool piece. The handle has a thumb imprint for ease of handling, but I also I place the flat handle between my index and middle finger.
Dramatic piece, I will try to take a few more photos ...

Glad to hear it arrived safely! I am on the beach in Puri, India. Not a bad place to wait out the floods which seem to be moving very slowly and might take weeks. Water supply is threatened even though inner Bangkok remains dry. The amount of garbage floating is staggering. Plus, crocodiles, snakes and other delightful bacteria. Cleanup will be staggering. A real disaster.

Glad to hear you are staying dry! I remember all too well bleaching my legs up to my knees during rainy season in bangkok! My dad actually fell down into an open "manhole" that was invisible under the water. yuckTead Off wrote:Glad to hear it arrived safely! I am on the beach in Puri, India. Re: Tead Off, TEAWARE ONLINE
I found an excellent video explaining the Thai floods and why this is such a devastating and prolonged event here:

Thoughts with all the Thai people suffering from this right now.
