New to loose leaf tea!

Hello, everyone; I'm Classica! Just thought I'd introduce myself and recount some of my tea-drinking history since this is a tea forum.
I'm southern, so I grew up drinking iced tea. I didn't drink it hot until my Dad brought home a teabag of Twinings Earl Grey from one of his business trips. Since then, it's been an on and off relationship, but I always come back to my tea, despite an early-instilled love for coffee.
I've never had loose leaf tea before; I found Adagio's IngenuiTEA and sampler set online, and I'm so excited for it to come! I'm looking forward to trying two of my favorite teas--Earl Grey and Irish Breakfast--as loose leaf tea!
