Where to Begin!?!?

Hello Everyone…
This is my first time on this forum and I am lookin for some answers to a couple of questions I have…First of all my family and I have been kicking around the idea of starting a tea shop, but we really need some more information before we jump into it! So here are a couple questions I need answers to…
1. Is there a big "tea drinking" market out there?
(probably a silly question : )
And if so,
a. Is there a good market for tea shops in this economy ? (And I'm talkin' about a "sit down", "sip tea", "chat with friends" shop… like a specialty "reservation only" tea shop, where you host parties )
2. What would the appox. start-up cost for something like that, be?
3. Are there some resources out there that I can "tap into" that could give me more info? (e.g websites, contacts etc.)
4. Is there anyone on this forum that owns a tea shop that could give me some insight?
I'm sorry…I know that these questions probably sound pretty vague, but I really am not quite sure where to start!
Any info would be very much appreciated!

A little google searching for "Charles Cain" might turn up a Linked in profile in the greater Chicago area.
