Not to be confused with Aroma Tea House in Vancouver - which is associated with Lam Kie Yuen Tea Company of Hong Kong and carries decent tea but doesn't really have an online shop.gaiwanteamaster113 wrote:Aroma Tea Shop has the best Tie Guan Yin Oolong Teas. They even have their own video blog about it. Go to www.aromteashop.com to check them out.

I am surprised that I haven't seen a single mention yet to The Mountain Tea Company.
I tried searching them on TC and found nothing. Anyway, they are a great supplier of Taiwanese Oolongs!

That has changed, with the fairly-recent Mountain Tea Co. OTTI.BreatheEasy wrote:I am surprised that I haven't seen a single mention yet to The Mountain Tea Company.

Having said that, though, I would like to see Mountain Tea have its own Tea Vendor Guide thread.
How about it, Chip?
Best wishes,

Re: NEW! Official OOLONG Tea Vendor Guide
As there is no separate thread for Mountain Tea, I will post the following link here:
http://worldoftea.org/buying-tea-direct-from-farmer/
This quote is especially interesting, I think:
"The future of tea will see more of a widespread emphasis on farms and growers rather than country of origin, an emphasis on blending and flavoring to enhance flavors rather than masking poor quality leaves, and tea roasting as an art form."

Currently I have and order placed for 3 samples (baozhong, and two different aged wulongs) and their comp. grade Wenshan Baozhong tea that should be here any time. It'd be great to have a space to report on that order. I like their offerings, specifically some of the seemingly smaller batches they're offering of interesting or aged teas.

Not looking closely at the full list, I had assumed Origin Tea was already in the list; I know Origin Tea has a place under the Tea Merchant thread here (http://www.teachat.com/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=18252). Is there a reason Origin Tea isn't in the quick links for Oolong Tea Vendor Guide?
