Surprise xmas gift from a teapal came straight from Petr's kiln to me.

A baby yuzamashi.

I've followed the photos on this thread, and there is a quality to this that doesn't make it into the photos. Not sure I've captured any of it, either. But if you have held it and taken in the dimensional quality of the fine details, you will understand.

Lucky me...
Dear Brandon,

Thank you for sharing this very nice collage and kind words! I hope it will works for you to your gratification.

After quite long time I finally updated my "available now"album. There are few more pieces waiting for camera - I should post them on Friday. I wish to have more time to share my work in upcoming year!

Enjoy your days
Petr

Here is a white shino porcelain set I have made for my friend. He have not seen it yet so I hope he will like it. btw. to take pictures of this kind of white is quite tricky to me! It always looks much better live then on my pictures...

Very cool Yuzamashi, Brandon. Looks like one of Petr's treebarks in a more subtle appearance?

Really like the white Shino, Petr!!! You keep coming up with new variations on a theme!

Chip - glad you like it! Yes, I try new variations but it is still me and tea why those pieces are born:)

More beautiful things, as always. I love the softness of the subtle colors in this set.
