Tie Lo Han
Any recommendations for quality tie lo han or other wuyi vendors? I have tried Jing, Red Blossom and Spring Cottage.
Thanks

Re: Tie Lo Han
Jing Tea (UK) I assume your Jing was Jing (China)
Iron Arhat
This one, like TLH often does, takes on a more viscous texture if you let it cool in the cup/
Hot, or cooler, it stands a reasonable comparison with most TLH I have tried. Maybe not quite as good as 1 or 2 I bought in Malaysia, but better than some others I bought out east.
Very enjoyable, anyway.

If you do shop there you may want to try a 10g sample of Sparrow's Tongue a first generation child of Da Hong Pao which is totally different to DHP,

Other Wuyi vendors.
Try Essence of Tea

I like the Bei Dou Yi Hao (another First Generation child of DHP)
and Bai Ji Guan another of the Si Da Ming Cong

Sells DHP and Tie Luo Han

+1 for essence of tea. 2010 yancha from master Huang can be a little young for some people I guess, but I love them. 2007 versions are really something. The Bai Ji Guan is a must.
My other source is Postcard Teas with Master Xu's teas. The Fragment of Imperial Robe is really something worth trying.
(I haven't tried IPT's selection.)

The Tea Gallery and the Mandarin's Tearoom are my go to Yancha vendors, though the TG is on vacation for the summer and not shipping right now.

I know this is an old post, but I thought I might as well reply.
Seven Cups has a magnificent Tie Luo Han, not to mention their large selection of other rock oolongs. My personal favorite is their Da Hong Pao Light Roast.

Thechineseteashop has an interesting aged Tie luo Han. It comes in paper wrapped packetts. It is pretty strong and still retains much of its original flavor profile with a slight medicinal taste and killer Qi.
