Occasionally I will forget to eat due to tea, but I am soon reminded to eat by the tea's effects on my stomach.

Happy belated birthday GargoyleKitty!
I have been too busy!
This sounds like me to a TEA!
Great TeaDays lately ... but I fear I have forgotten to eat a few times. I will eat better tomorrow ... if I remember!

It is usually tea combined with "other things" that cause this. The tea "sustains me" as I get involved in the other stuff.

Went with the last option
Tea on an empty stomach is not a good idea, at least for me. Besides that, I do also like my food.

A nice tea to wash down my breakfast of fruit and Paczki.

For those who can't drink tea on an empty stomach--what are your symptoms? Upset stomach, pain, nausea, or
The reason I ask is because most of the time I drink tea on an empty stomach with no ill effects. Maybe I'm just lucky?

Most teas I can drink on an empty stomach except for a strong sencha, assams or real malty reds, and greener oolongs brewed strong
It can feel like someone kicked me in the stomach with the green oolongs brewed strong
or a very mild nausea, not enough to throw up but enough nonetheless
for the reds and sencha (nausea lasts for about 20-30 mins then its gone regardless if I eat or not afterwards)
Today at work some ding gu da feng meeting with some mao jian from jingteashop. They are getting along very well together
