Blending variation on older menghai recipe cakes
I have recently run into this problem twice recently with older menghai recipe cakes that the blend seems to be a little off from one cake to the next. I'm sure they are pretty uniform now but back in the 80's and 90's when the layering for the cakes was done by hand(maybe it still is).I am just looking to hear from someone with more experience, looking at say multiple 90's 7542's, 32's, or 8582's. Is there a good amount variation between the bud content on the surface from cake to cake or batch to batch?

Do not discount the possibility that some or all of your teas are fake
