Re: Recommendations for newbie
trying to give it a chance, ill try coldbrewing with bottled water. i cant imagine it being a vendor thing as the tea was very offensive to my tastebuds ( almost traumatized ) ill prolly try a different site next time
Re: Recommendations for newbie
tried coldbrewing didnt really change anything. i dont believe it is the water, im just not too fond of the taste of green teas.
i did try reducing amount of tea/brew time and adding drops of lemon juice which makes it somewhat tolerable; is there something else i can add in to help ? some type of herb or flavoring ?
do the mixed green teas with fruits/genmaicha have a significantly different taste?

Re: Recommendations for newbie
Perhaps start with a white tea like Bai Mu Dan? They're very floral and light.
Re: Recommendations for newbie
yea was thinking i might try some white/decaf/chamomile
appreciate the suggestion.
just figuring out the differences in the types of tea (green, black, oolong, red), all these asian names pretty confusing ^^; kinda getting the differences between the types also
varying parts of plant/harvest times/strains maybe.
