The official Teacup Inspector approved my new turquoise oribe cup that arrived today with my TC TA SO #4 Yunomi. You can see that she is a very thorough inspector--gets right up close and personal with it:

I like it too. More pictures later, when I have time to take out the big camera.

I just posted a lot of photos of my TC TA SO #4 'Scallop' yunomi in the 'show off' and the 'SO #4' topics.

And I have also had a couple of nice tea sessions with my turquoise oribe from the same order

I'm quite pleased with my split-fire pieces.

Hi Everyone,
Just finished my latest firing and am unloading tomorrow,Thursday after work. I have a couple of quick shots, while it's too hot to unload, just 'cause I am crazy with curiosity as to how it looks/went. I'll let you decide.

That bowl 3rd shelf down on the left looks quite deliciously confused about whether it should be red, blue, or gray.

Thank you all for the comments/compliments, I can't wait to empty it this afternoon. I have 5 or 6 people coming up from Ithaca, NY ( a very "artsy" town") to see the kiln opening. They were there for the spectacular last two hours of the firing.
From what I've seen that tea bowl is silvery like pewter or something on the one side. Kinda like the "snowflakes" look but in silver. Very different. I have a bunch of tea ware mixed in from front to back, including a beautiful custom order 28-30oz teapot in Malcolm's shino for a customer from the D.C. area. The whole firing is in someways different as I tried a different wood combination. Always want to try new things.

Thank you debunix. It is a stunner!! I wish it wasn't a commission, I would keep it in a heartbeat! It's one I would get professional pictures taken of it. Hmmm, maybe I will before I ship it. I'll have to contact the buyer.
