The tenmoku is really nice! It has a lot going on and I am sure it is much more beautiful and interesting in hand.

I always look at the oxblood ... but have never taken the plunge. Fortunately for my wallet ... having purchased your shino, snakeskin, tree bark ... and more.

I like to play with it, like one two pieces time to time. Whole kiln of red teaware sounds a little bit like a bad dream to me:)

That tenmoku is beautiful, and looks like it needs lots of quiet tea-fueled contemplation to appreciate it properly--there is a lot going on.

The oxblood glaze is quite lovely, in this rare appearance.

sure. !0 years ago in "ceramic monthly" Skutt has such advertisement. Happy artist behind his, like you said "whole kiln of red teaware (perfect red)". Nightmare indeed, but I personaly just do not like open kiln view at all. From the other hand I like your red pot becuse of his "imperfection" and do not think that more of them can be boring.

Petr found a replacement lid for my shiboridashi in his extra-lids magic box

To celebrate this new lid, I purchased Petr a teapot from his last firing, a "rusty" teapot. It's amazing. Thank you for everything, Petr !

That is a lovely teapot--it looks like it was just found at the bottom of the ocean, encrusted with sea life, or perhaps freshly carved from coarse stones. Dramatic. And it is indeed a lovely pairing with that cup and pitcher--from the coarse/dark to the smooth/light, a nice progression.
