Hello!
My name is Tawny & I'm new to teachat. I'm 23 years old, I'm an artist/musician/singer and I love tea!
I saw in another thread a few questions that seemed good to answer, and popped in one of my own as well... so here goes:
How long have you been drinking tea?
I have been drinking tea for about 5 years now, I started drinking it with a college buddy. I kind of stopped drinking it for a while (unintentionally) but I rediscovered my love for a good hot cuppa in the past few months. I started out only on teabags, but have recently discovered the wonders of loose leaf teas. I don't think I'll ever go back!
What was your first tea?
My first tea? I don't really remember but I'm pretty sure it was either Earl Grey or English Breakfast tea.
What is your favorite tea currently?
Well, I've always had a deep love for Earl Grey Lavender tea, but recently I have been exploring other tea varieties and have fallen in love with Adagio's Pu Erh Poe and Formosa Oolong teas.
What is your next purchase?
Well, I have a lot of different teas I would like to try, but I'm thinking that I'd like to try a few more Oolong varieties and maybe some Yunnan teas as well.
Where is your favorite spot to brew up?
I'm currently a stay at home mom to two little ones, so I usually brew myself a good cuppa and curl up in the corner of the couch to watch my kiddies play
Why did you join teachat?
I don't know many people locally that enjoy tea the way I do- most people just drink plain Lipton iced tea around here. So I thought it would be a good way to connect to other tea lovers and get some inspiration as to teas I should try and all that
