What are your opinion on the cakes produced by the french pu-erh producing outfit Terre de Ciel?

I have not come across any reviews of their teas in the english speaking tea blogosphere yet.

Never heard of them personally, but since it seems that they have samples available, i'd say to try it. You never know what you might find.

Good Luck, Tea Friend

I tried some of their puerh last year (4-5 different between samples and 100g cakes). Very good surprise. On french blogs, I have only read good feedback.

Never heard of them, post a review if you decide to try them.

It would help to see pictures of their cakes/tea, rather than the cliche photo of 'elderly minority person making tea' they have on their site.

If you go to boutique > Thés Puer and click on the relevant cakes you will be able to see quite large resolution images of the tea in question.
