Wow, that is really cool! What a great opportunity, thanks for sharing the background info!

That's great! Really looking forward to this OTTI, as I think many others are as well.

Absolutely! I'm definitely looking forward to this one. I'm almost completely new to oolong. The only oolong I've ever tried up until now was the inexpensive, "every day" Ed Feng Huang Milan Dancong from Jing.
This should be interesting!

+1 for sure!
I'll be doing a bit of background reading to help put the teas into context, as Taiwan Oolongs is an area about which I know nothing.
Best wishes,

Really looking forward to this one. I am a big fan of gaoshan. I'll be a little more in my element after the last three Japanese OTTIs.

I was wondering if we could know what general area you ship the OTTI tea from, Chip?
USA west coast, another country, etc?

Thanks for your response. I grew up in the West Chester area. Now I live in a whole different world on the far northern CA coast.

Sorry for the delay in replying, I have been getting my mother situated in a new rehab facilty.
All the OTTIs have been packaged with care,
in hopes they will be delivered to TCers near and far!
With a little luck these will be shipped tomorrow (Wednesday)! I will post after shipped so you know ...
Shortly after shipping, I will then edit the earlier posts with brewing suggestions, etc.

And today mid roasted Dong Ding.
Loving the complex aromas coming steep after steep.
