New to matcha - recommendations?
I've tried a lot of different teas - but never a matcha. I'm interested in recommendations.
Pure Matcha gets really good reviews for quality, taste, and value. 30g for about $21.99. Obviously, you can pay a lot more...and less. What are you top picks? I'd be using it for tea (not ice cream or desserts).

The matchas of zencha.net are very good concerning price quality ratio in my opinion

aeflo,
I'll accept you as TeaChat's resident Macha master, and I ordered an appealing Yame Matcha Sansu. Thanks for the advice!

My favorite are from Ippodo. Horai for daily drinking and Wakamatsu for special. I've tried a lot of different matcha and these are hands down my favorite.

I would recommend Kiri-no-mori from O-Cha as a good place to start. Gives you a really great matcha for the money:
