Hello from Nashville, TN

by jaylorgator » Aug 3rd, '12, 01:45

Hey,

I've been reading posts on TeaChat for a while, and have asked a few questions, but have never introduced myself. I've been drinking tea as a hobby for about a year now, and really enjoy Taiwanse Hong Shui oolong, Yancha, and Phoenix Dancong. I also really like sencha. I'm currently a high schooler, so I don't really have a ton of people to discuss tea with, other than a couple of close friends.

I still have pretty much everything to learn, and I'm looking forward to participating more on the forum.

Welcome! Good to see someone younger discovering the good stuff early, without wasting so many years on teabags first. How did you discover "real" tea?

Thanks, Debunix and Tim. I did have a brief Teavana/teabag phase  , but as I got more interested and did some research I learned about gong fu pretty quickly.
