I'm sure there are articles elsewhere, but here's one on recent earthquakes in and near Yunnan.
This article also refers to earthquakes happening frequently in the area.
I wonder what kind of trouble the quakes cause for the tea growers?
Re: More earthquakes in Yunnan
Well, in this particular case, not much, since it's not near the important tea growing regions.
But I'd imagine you lose trees sometimes in a quake

Yiliang County

landslides would be able to demolish tea factories, of which there are several in Yilian Cty, hardest hit area. Could also damage some plantations :p, don't know about wild tree areas. Small buildings, where there are not much in the way of building codes for earthquakes; could result in tea processing/storage coming to a halt, not inconsequential. This tea is produced from Yiliang county of Yunnan. Tea from Yiling has been famous since Tang dynasty. Up till Ming dynasty, Bao Hong Tea was a royal tribute tea all the time, and was given the title of “the best tea of China” by some scholars. I didn’t find out when its nickname, Yi Liang Long Jing, started to be used. But I guess it was after the “real” Long Jing became the nation’s favorite.
