So what's the gang hand sign then?
My own nick I made up on the spot at registration like I usually do. No system or particular thought but I've noticed over the years that these names nearly always start with an S and contain A and I. No idea why.
One exception is a forum where I took the name of an actor I had recently discovered I share birthdays with.
Started my teaday today with a nice Assam, Oaklands estate. =)

It was my first login when I took a unix class that required a login at university, and since it's an odd word and easily remembered, I have reused it at times in different places.
Today, first tea of the afternoon is a fancy-packaged Ti Kuan Yin given to a colleague who prefers coffee. It's a nice mellow medium roast, quite pleasant for brewing/drinking by the thermos-full during clinic, but the packaging is rather opaque as to it's origins...

It's my true name so to speak. AdamMY should be read as Adam M. Y. as in my first name is Adam, middle initial is M, and my last name starts with Y. Although I do not object to the nick name adammy to be read as adam-me.

Nickname that i was using on internet for over ten years by now, got used to it
Probably started using it during playing games.
Today will be mostly taiwanese oolong day, small kyusu stuffed with Red Jade (variation of taicha n18?), at first was not really impressed with this oolong that resembles black tea. But now started to enjoy it a lot, sweet, smooth and caramel like flavors.

I am literally named after the expression, "chip off the old block." Chip was my nick since I was a baby. I had the same name as my father. So, they nicked me Chip, and I kept it into adulthood and into cyberspace.

Middle Name.
From what I remember, it has something to do with a character on some old daytime soap...

the "d" is my middle initial (the name I go by) and "shu" is how my last name is pronounced but not spelled.
Started today off with the last of my xiao hong pao from jing. Letting the spent leaves soak for some iced tea later.

So I've had all types of weird hobbies... tea is one of the only ones that has seemed to stick.
One weird hobby, and one of the first internet forums I joined, was a carnivorous plant group.
That's right, venus fly traps, pitcher plants, etc....
Hence the "FlyedPiper". I thought it was clever
. Now I just use it 'cause I'm pretty sure no one else is.
Having some Jin Xuan this afternoon...

Tadpoles are awesome. I am awesome
Savoring a fukamushi sencha from Nijiya Market with scrambled eggs, green olives, saurkraut, and quinoa-millet toast.
Bringing a tin of Alishan to work later. Coworkers say it's marijuana no matter what I tell them.
