Hi everyone !
I'm really happy to discover this place ! To quickly introduce myself, I work in a tea house in Gatineau, Canada (Cha-Yi) for two years. It's the best job ever ! I'm also a classical musician and composer, and play the harpsichord and the organ.
My boss goes each year in China and Taïwan to meet producers, tea Masters and to bring back the most interesting teas he can find. He taught me many things but I want to go into tea (and especially into teapot pottery) in depth. I would also be interested by learning Gong Fu Cha.
I have 6 YiXing clay teapots, an other one that I suspect to be an imitation, a little Kyushu and a Taïwan porcelain. I'm waiting for a Tetsubin from Morihisa that is expected for 2014 ( ... so long..)
My favorite teas are... well, all the good ones !
I can't wait to share my passion with you and discover many new things.
Have a nice tea,
Iskander

Nice that you found your way here!
I used to sing under the direction of a keyboardist who has long been involved in the HIP movement, as has her husband. She has a lovely recording of the Goldberg Variations on lautenwerk. I'm also a fan of Pierre Hantaï and excellent tea from any area.

Is it such a coincidence, that we both like baroque music and tea ? I always thought there was a musical gesture in tea, especially in Gong Fu Cha.
