MarshalN: Antique dish for sale

by MarshalN » Oct 25th, '12, 00:50

Unpacking is still ongoing, and with it, stuff that can use a new home

This is a dish I bought to use as a water-catching dish for my tea setup. I put it under my pot, although others might use it for cups, and still others will find other uses for it (food?). Specifically, it came in a set of 5, so I have a few extra that I'd like to sell.

These dishes are pre-war and are Japanese. They measure 6.5"x5" approximately. The decorative motif on the side are on all four sides. The pot in the last picture is for illustrative purposes only :)

I'd like $28 for one, shipping included.

What's the story with that pot? Yao Bian, or just super-tea stained?
