What's the difference between the various ways that caffeine may be removed?

Tea contains antioxidants called polyphenols. These give tea its amazing health benefit properties. As decaffeinated tea contains fewer polyphenols, its health benefits might be diminished as well.

Shelly--

Thanks for the post.

Probably the best way to get rid of coffee's caffeine is to throw away the coffee! If that proves uneffective, you may wish to try what is called the "Swiss Water" method where you go to Switzerland and throw the coffee in a river. You'll definitely get rid of the caffeine that way.

Caffeine free,

ps.. all joking aside, the decaffeination process for coffee really is called the "Swiss Water" method.... and tea really is better
