I don't drink a "lot" of pu but when the winter months come along my body seems to really feel it. lately I have been really enjoying this Zipin Hao, I picked it up at my local tea shop, Mad Monk Tea.
Astringency - very slight one of the nice things for me about this tea is it seems even mellower than it's age would suggest
Smoke - ever so slight hint of smoke in the dry cake doesn't really transfer to the cup though
Dryness- not really an issue
Mouthfeel - medium to medium light, with a great smooth and slippery texture, slides down the throat really nicely.
Hui gan - mild but noticeable.
Flavor - this cake had a nice flavor with mild sweet notes, dry hay and rained on rained on straw. this cake has some very autumn like notes for me.
chaqi- nice, a pleasant uprising in the base of the skull and a warmth that spreads through the chest
Overall value - quite good
